Matt trained and handled my shorthair, Butch. He took Butch to the UFTA nationals in February 2015 and won the Amateur Pointing National Championship. 186 dogs competed for the title. Matt seems to have a gift to get the most of out of dog without being overly firm or heavy handed. Dogs like to work for him and respond to his methods. He enjoys the respect of fellow field trial competitors from NC all the way to the Midwest.
