 About Great Basin KennelsWe hunt, compete and breed the highest class bird dogs in Nevada. We have acquired some of the finest Elhew bred pointers. We believe in the Elhew line, as their biddibility is world renowned. We are ever so grateful to Mr. Bob Wehle for developing this fantastic line of dogs. We are not kennel blind though, as we do purge and upgrade our lines from time to time, and believe in outcrossing to Fiddler and Miller bred bird dogs. We have a litter by Ch. Elite Poker Face out of our outstanding young female Maddie (Elhew Seahorse x Hanna's Turbo Queen [littermate to Ch. Elhew Hannabell]). These pups were whelped July 5, 2009. We are expecting litters by our own son of HOF Ch. Elhew Snakefoot, and by Chairman ofthe Board, our signature stud at Great Basin Kennel. Finally, we have several young dogs that are in training on wild birds on the prairie with professional trainers Robin Gates and Randy Anderson. When their training is complete, we will offer a select few of these championship bred wild bird dogs for sale.
