About Misty Maples Golden Kennels
We are an award winning small breeder that only breeds once per year and breeds for quality. We are not a backyard breeder. All litters are planned ahead of time and chosen based on conformation and to better the breed. We handle our dogs and puppies daily, they are not kennel dogs. We use our dogs in Obedience, Showmanship, Hunting, Rally and Agility, both in AKC and other venues. Gretchen has her Rally Novice title & CGC, 1 leg towards her CD and is a registered Delta Therapy dog. Lilly and Sassy are half sisters with a fanominal show pedigree and champion pointed. We are very excited to announce "Buzz" a 6yr old AKC Champion show male that is training for hunting! We believe in only breeding to improve the breed. We do health testing (Hips, Elbows,Eyes, & Heart) on all dogs we have and will have a written 2 year health guarantee. WE also do DNA testing. We believe in placing our dogs with loving homes that will provide the best of care for them. There are 100+ Champions in 8 generations with any combination of litters!! If you want it all!! The pups will be a AWESOME combination of hunting, confirmation, and working lines. They come with AKC Limited Registration, 1st shots, wormed 4-6 times, dew claws done, vet checked, microchipped & Lifetime chip registration, toy, towel w litter scent, starter food, and come with a puppy pack starter kit! All pups will have great all around potential and will have linage that allow them to do obedience, agility, rally, hunt, and be fantastic, loving companion family dogs! The parents are very trainable and pass that to the pups. They will have been socialized at a family campground, along with other dogs, traveling, & children. We have had goldens for 40 years. Gryff is our newest and probably last puppy. We saved the best for last. We have always had wonderful goldens, but this guy is the best of all. People comment that he should be on tv as he is so handsome. He is funny, sweet, loves all people and animals!He is 8 months old and still has not growled, whined, or barked! He does make noise when he plays with his dog friends but not barks or growls😊He loves to snuggle. He was easy to train and just wants to please everyone. The only problem, we hate going away because we miss him when we do♥ï¸Best Dog Ever!USRRN

We have never owned a Golden before, Misty Maples came highly recommended from a coworker. I can truthfully say that Our Posi, is the BEST dog we have ever owned. Her temperament with my very young grandchildren is beyond impressive. She is gentle with my infant granddaughter and playful and fun for my older grandchildren. She is the most loyal and affectionate dog I have ever seen in this breed. I am so pleased that I want to come back and get a male for a companion for Posi.
