About Bird Dog LabsWe are a small scale breeder of AKC Labrador Retrievers located in Bemidji, Minnesota. We focus on producing top quality all around Lab puppies from champion Field Bred and Hunt Test bloodlines that are healthy and free of hereditary disorders. Our dogs are selected for their natural hunting instincts, desire to please, intelligence, versatility, gentle temperaments, ability to compete in hunt tests and field trials, trainability, pedigree, health clearances, and attractive physical features. We have only one or two litters of puppies a year to ensure that each puppy is given a lot of individual attention. All puppies are wormed, vaccinated, have dew claws removed, receive early neurological stimulation, are exposed to water, gunfire, birds or bird wings, different environmental terrains, and are well socialized with adults, children, and other animals.
