Stonepointe Vizslas - Michigan Vizsla Breeders

Stonepointe Vizslas began in 1999 with the birth of our 1st litter. In just two litters our foundation bitch "Nikki" - Ch Nikki's Magic Feather Cloud JH ROM received her Registry of Merit (ROM) from the Vizsla Club of America (VCA). We have also produced a Multiple Best in Specialty Show Winner (BISS). VCA Award of Merit Winner, National Best of Opposite in Sweeps Winner, Specialty Best in Sweeps winner, Multiple Specialty Award of Merit Winners, Multiple Group Placers (some from the puppy classes), Multiple Top 20 Ranked dogs in the US & Canada, and numerous Multiple Best of Breed Winners...thats just from the show ring! We have numerous dogs with Hunting titles, including 1 Master Hunter to date, Several Senior & Junior Hunters. We also have various dogs competing in All levels of Agility, Obedience and other canine sports.

My dog passion did not begin with Vizslas, I started with Shelties (Shetland Sheepdogs) and Dobermans. When I first began show "Nikki" for her owner Dan Crawford my love for Vizslas began! "Nikki" taught me how wonderful the Vizsla breed was and I was hooked. We pride ourselves in breeding Versatile Vizslas; in this we mean dogs who have the correct conformation (structure) as well as the ability to hunt as they were bred to. We actively hunt all of our dogs. All of our dogs have health certifications - OFA (Hips & Elbows), CERF (Eyes), Von Willebrands, and Thyroid checks prior to ever being bred. We feel temperament as well as health, correct conformation, and hunting agility are all very important characteristics for the vizsla breed. All of our dogs are cherished members of our family. All of our puppies are raised in the house with lots of attention and socialization

Currently we have dogs participating in most all dog sport venues (AKC, CKC, NAVHDA). At the moment we compete more in AKC, we currently have dogs working on their championship titles, as well as others out in the specials ring. We also have dogs working on their Master Hunter Titles as well as other hunting titles. My 1st Best in Show win came in 1996 with a Rough Collie Bitch, named "Shaded".
