Quite simply, the best breeder of healthy, athletic, intelligent, highly trainable labs. Abby, a chocolate, was our first dog from Frank & Sheila. She lived to be almost 16 and words cannot describe how wonderful she was. When we were ready for another dog, there was no question but that we go back to Old Squaw. We now have Bamboo, a yellow, who is 15 months old now, and proving to be just as wonderful as the first!!

We had our beloved Carmelo 12 years ago, he recently passed away. The best dog ever and we are coming back soon.

I having nothing but good to say about Oldsquaw Kennels, Frank and Sheila Purdy, and their dogs. I've owned a small herd of black dogs, and my present male Charlie, is among my best.
Amazing hunting ability, determination and drive. Insane desire for birds. Loves top train.
The tougher the cover, the more he likes it. A true no nonsense alpha male.
In the off season, and wonderful, loving pet and house dog.

Today our great companion Old Squaw's Lucky Lad Joshua "Josh" turns THREE! He is gentle, smart, devoted and a GREAT companion. Last year we began traveling in the winter in our 5th wheel. What a trouper he is. People were coming to say good-bye to him when we packed up and moved to our next destination. Josh's mother is Rose and his dad Drake. Frank and Sheila do a wonderful job with their dogs. Josh's sister is "Darla". Thanks Frank and Sheila!
