at shagsrun we strive to breed the ultimate gentleman's gun dog. drive, natural ability, bird finding ability and easy keepers around kennel or house. as long as our shags are at you side they are doing great. we have pups on the ground and are 3 weeks old. we also have started and broke dogs for sale.

My 10 year old son is starting to run and handle her on his own. This is the easiest pup that I have ever broke. She keeps amazing me every time we take her out. I have heard of born natrual dogs and never thought much about it,But she has made me rethink my judgements. He has been a pleasure to train and hunt with.His instinct and ability to find birds and point is outstanding! He has won the hearts of our family. Plus he hunts hard. I mean really hard. He is super classy and athletic. I really dont know what more you could ask for in a bird dog, and I mean ANY kind of bird dog. My hats off to Shag's Run, great dog guys! I understand that everyone thinks their dog is the best...I am no different. My dog (Rev) points anything and everything that flutters through the yard from feathers to grasshoppers and hes only 4 months old! Im extremely proud of Rev and everyone compliments me on what a good looking pup I have. He has an outstanding nose and a crackin' tail! And no he's not for sale! |
