Wind Wagon Retrievers - Kansas Labrador Retriever Breeders

Wind Wagon Retrievers is a gun dog kennel specializing in the breeding, training, testing, and hunting of Labrador Retrievers. Our breeding program is focused on pairing hunting retrievers that have proven abilities and pedigrees, are athletic and sound with good disposition and conformation. Our training program stresses high praise, the use of attrition, and the application of adequate and timely corrections when needed. This program is intended to maximize each dog's ability while boosting confidence and a positive attitude. Our puppy training program emphasizes the concept of conditioned learning.

We have handled our retrievers in AKC Junior, Senior, and Master hunt test events as well as HRC Started, Seasoned, Finished and Upland hunt test events. Our dogs have earned titles at all levels. We will continue to handle dogs at all levels and also plan to give back to both programs by judging at AKC and HRC events. Most of all, though, we enjoy hunting with our dogs and training for hunt tests simply makes them more pleasurable to be with in the field.
