I have been training bird dogs for 35+ years. I currently compete in NSTRA field trials, and have 2 young dogs about to finish their own Championships . I have Specialized in the TRAINED RETRIEVE for 19 years and have trained many of my competitors dogs through the years. I have many references, and rely on my satisfied return customers. I am a FULL TIME TRAINER. NOT A HOBBY. I am an active hunter as well, and have hunted most upland species in North America. I know what it takes to make a GREAT bird dog.

All Of My Training is GUARANTEED in writing. I take no money up front. I only get paid when your dog is finished to YOUR SATISFACTION. Upon pick up, you will be required to pick up your dog at the kennel, and prove him in the field before leaving or paying. Your dog will be evaluated WITH YOU, upon initial arrival.

I was told by a Field Trial buddy if you want your dog to be reliable to retrieve, take him to Bruce Anderson. I was so impressed with the change in my Pointer I brought my young female pup to him to work with too, he started her and she handles like a 4 year old. Bruce has the natural ability to READ a dog,if I need training down the road Bruce will get my call.

I went to Overbrook with my 4mo old brittany today and Bruce sat down with me and talked me through the training process. I spent 2 hours with him and in that 2 hours I learned more than most people do about dog training in a life time. This man definitely knows what he is talking about and I can see why he has so many return customers. The only thing that kept me from having Bruce train my dog personally is that he had no more kennel space. In the future however, if and when I purchase another bird dog, it will definitely be trained by Bruce at Finishing Touch Kennels.

Bruce recently trained our Golden Retriever in the force fetch retrieve. We are very happy with the results. The dog is exceeding our highest expectations.
