About Silver Cave Labradors

Silver Cave Labradors is a small family kennel in the heartland. Our land is surrounded by beautiful whitetail deer, pheasant, turkey, and rich farmland. Our labs have a large area to exercise daily.

Our labs typically have more of the "field lines" in their genetics. We feel that this results in superior hunting, pointing, and retrieving ability while still keeping the wonderfully friendly temperament for which Labs are so well known. We select and breed for a classic Lab look as well; we prefer the blocky-headed, heavier substance dogs.

We are a licensed commercial breeder. All our dogs are featured on our website. Our puppies are bred to improve the Labrador breed and offer companions and hunting partners to the right person or family.

I purchased a female puppy from the fall 2009 litter. Mya is a chocolate lab and has been healthy and very active. She trains easily and is very intelligent. We were very impressed with Joel and Penny Grey. They kept us up to date on everything with Mya's progress until we could take her home. She has been such a joy to have in our family and we would gladly purchase another puppy from the Greys.
