Covey Rise Kennels - Iowa American Brittany Breeders

Covey Rise Kennels is a small country kennel located in the rolling hills of Southeast Iowa. We are, first and foremost, upland bird hunters. Our Mission, shown in the menu on our website, highlights the type of dog we like to hunt behind and the type of citizen we want in the home. These characteristics and traits that many other upland bird hunters seek in a hunting dog are the guiding force in our breeding strategy. Improving our line of brittanys with every breeding is the paramount goal with the continual mission to produce High Quality Foot Hunting Brits, which are Dream Family Companions.

We produce one or two litters a year and our sires and dams have passed OFA testing. Covey Rise Puppies are AKC registered and come with a 30 Month Health Guarantee. Our pups are raised in our home and are well socialized. We have liver and white, orange and white, and tri-colored pups in many of our litters. Our brittanys are in homes across the nation and numerous references are available upon request.

I first met Tom Fuller in November 2004 while making phone calls looking for a female Brittany to become my hunting companion. Tom answered all my questions over the phone and soon I was on my way from Michigan to Iowa to pickup my new hunting dog. Tom & Jennifer Fullar made the whole purchase experience a real pleasure. Dixie, now 4 1/2 turned out to not only is a fine hunting companion, finding, pointing and retrieving Quail and Pheasant in the field.
