Although I was unable to find a puppy with Josh he was extraordinarily helpful in assisting me to find someone close to my home that had a litter on its way thank you Josh for all your help to find my new puppy.

Josh is a great breeder and gave me a ton of advice on my dog. She is incredibly athletic, very smart and an all around joy, such a sweet and obedient girl. Her name is Magpie. Thanks Josh!

I am also a breeder of fine English cockers. My stud is the father of josh’s current litter. I don’t do business with a lot of dog people because I have run into some interesting folks over the years. Josh is honest,good man and loves his dogs. And he has some good ones. Josh will never win a speed talking contest but you won’t find a better guy out there. 100% recommend him(unless I have a litter for sale). Ha ha. You will not find a nicer better breeder. My husband and I purchased our first ever hunting dog from Davison's kennel, an English Cocker spaniel Female.

Our experience with this breeder has been great! Our dog Roxy is the most family friendly dog we've ever had, and she's a natural at hunting! She is extremely well mannered around adults and children, and everyone can't help but lover her (even people who don't like dogs). She is incredibly smart as well, and obedient. She loves water too! She can't help but swim in any creek or lake we take her too and she's had great instincts with birds since day one.

She house trained VERY quickly and is a great indoor / outdoor dog. She has a lot of energy, but can calm down very quickly when she's inside and she knows to relax.

We communicate with the Davinson's regularly to keep them updated on Roxy because they care a lot about their dogs and love to see them doing well!

Can't recommend this breeder enough!

I had the good fortune to find Josh after the holidays and now have 6 month old female pup. I’ve owned a Springer and was shy about getting another Spaniel because of all the genetic problems I’d experienced . Josh answered all of my questions and set me at ease that he breeds top quality animals. I had heard from others that these little dogs are highly energetic enthusiastic retrievers and boy was that right. I get so many compliments on what a great looking pup I’ve got. On top of that, she’s a character and keeps us entertained with her antics. Smart, athletic, eager to learn, and entertaining. I can’t wait to hunt over her this coming bird season. I look forward to reporting back to Josh and sending pics. He cares about the breed and it shows in his dogs.

I purchased a 9 month old English Cocker from Josh, named Bear.
This little guy is simply one of the best dogs I have ever had. His field performance is stellar and he is a super family member.
In my lifetime I have hunted all over the US and had about every type of bird dog God makes and Bear is one of the best.
The only problem with Bear is everybody who meets him wants to take him home.

What a treat!! This little dog is an overall perfect fit - she hunts like my husbands likes and shes small and cute like mom and the kids hoped for. Josh knows his stuff on these little bird dogs. He was easy to get in contact with, fair on price for sure and had a very clean kennel. I have had successful English cocker spaniel. Adoption process with josh davison and his kennels. I must say it was a wonderful experience with a 8 week old male spaniel with good eyes. Good ears . good shin a an excellent temperament. The adoption process with me. Davison was very professional. He advertised exactly what I was interested. A hinting retriever dog. Male. Black and possible adoption. I wad able to meet the dam and sire prior to adoption. O wad able to meet all seven pups and wad able to pick a male English cocker spaniel puppy at four weeks of age. After proper deposit I was very confident at another four weeks I could stop back. Produce the additional amount due and have a professional canine adoption. And that did come to a successful conclusion. After 12 months with my companion spaniel I must day he "The Cory Dog" is every thing Mr. Davison said he would be. I am a very satisfied client.customer of the Davison kennels and the 15 month spaniel is a blessing to my life in Tampa, Florida.
