About Deep End Vizslas
Puppies due April/May 2015. Inquiries welcome;
My goal is to breed the best versatile Vizsla; a dog that will excel in any arena but is still equally happy being my companion while I'm relaxing watching TV. All my dogs are raised in the house with plenty of human contact, as it is very important to expose them to many different situations when they are young so they become well-adjusted adults.

Deep End's Run'in Wild JH - "Faith" is 5-years old and following in her mother's footsteps. She is currently thriving in training for her field work and I have show her in the breed ring and has done well, getting Best in Opposite at the Worcester Shows. We will possibly take some time for competitive obedience as well. She is very smart, learns quickly, and is eager to work and please. Faith is a great house dog. She is calm, gentle, and super social with people and other dogs.
Her first litter, now almost 3 years old. 3 of the 8 puppies are competing; "Stella", Deep Ends Chas'n Your Wildest Dream, "Maggie", Deep Ends Run'in Upwind, and their sister "Jetta", have completed their JH titles. The 3 girls all have multiple placements in field trials, with 2 of them being handled by their junior owners. One of their brothers is living with an avid hunter and is successfully finding lots game for his owner. The rest of the litter is healthy doing well; they are hiking and keeping their owners exercised. All three girls have been trained to run on the treadmill, so when the weather is bad or work schedules don't allow they still get the exercise they need. Her last litter is now 7 months old and are a bundle of energy, love to hunt, run and are natural retrievers. "Jetta" is expecting her first litter at the end of April.
Shenipst's I Remember You-"Ty", the stud dog, is 4 years old. He has immense natural talent, drive and energy. He has proven to be the easiest dog I have ever trained, picking up each task quickly and without much repetition. He is a natural retriever and loves to swim and bring back tennis balls as well as game. I've recently taken him out in the breed ring where at his first show (which was a regional show), he place 4th over all, and at his second show went Best of Winners and received his first points, he continued, to winner over the 2014 fall and went Best of Breed at the Worcester show. He has also been trained to run on the treadmill and runs with Jetta's owner, who trains for marathons. His Grandmother was FC/AFC Upwind Shenipsit Rebel JH who was nationally ranked in the top three of Field Trial Champions for 7 years. "Yogurt" lived to be 13 years and was a wonderful companion and hunter.
The grand-dam FC/AFC Cliffside's Run'in On Hi Test SH-"Tess" was a Field Champion and an Amateur Field Champion as well as having her Senior hunting title. She ended the 2009 spring field trial season nationally ranked #2 in Field Trial Champions with less than 100 points separating her from the #1 dog. She was working towards her Master Hunting title and continued to run and place in field trials right up til she past away November 2012.
The grand-sire CH Magyar's Take A Chance On Me CD, CDC, MH, VC-"Chancelor" was a champion in his own right. He held titles in four different venues, but he mostly held the "king of the couch" title in his senior years. He was still active and went for hour runs with the pack several times a week, as well as playing hard with my 1yr old pup. He passed away in May 2012, just shy of his 15th birthday. He will remain my buddy who accomplished more than I could have imagined.
All the dogs are and were great companions, well-mannered and willing to please. Pedigrees & pictures available upon request.

Submitted by: Kimberly Markey on Sep 16, 2013Marisa takes the time to fit their puppies with the right home. Puppies have great temperament, conformation and instinct. I highly recommend Deep End Vizslas to those looking for a pet, Field Champion or hunting companion.
