Sweet Lucy Kennel - Arkansas Labrador Retriever, Standard Poodle Breeders

We are a small "kennel" in Hot Springs, Arkansas devoted to raising quality dogs that will function as both a pet and a gun dog. Our dogs are our pets first and foremost and we will not breed more than once every couple of years. All of our dogs are raised in our home and in the company of our other pets and our children so they are very well socialized. We own a black female lab, an apricot male standard poodle, and a maltese (he's the baby...not a gun dog obviously).

We also recently added an apricot female standard poodle puppy to our home, and have began her retriever training. We are hopeful that both she and our male poodle will soon be working toward their hunt titles. This acheivement takes time and training and we want them to succeed before we plan on any breedings. We also will not breed her before she is two years old. If all goes as planned, hopefully we can expect a litter of championship bloodline standard poodle pups in 2011. Fingers crossed! We will update this site as they progress through training and hunt tests.
