Yellow Lab puppies bred for family and field are ready to go home now! This litter is meant to be your family’s best friend on the couch and by the fire, while prepared for any game you decide to give them. We screen for good health in hips, elbows, eyes, hearts, DNA tests for EIC, CNM and PRA and we look for as many clearances in the pedigrees as possible. To be even more diligent, we run a coefficient of inbreeding before pairing dogs because diverse genetics have been shown to provide pups a longer and healthier life. No dog is perfect, but we do the best we can. We love what we do and do it right. Overview of each parent is provided below and each pup goes home with proof of clearances throughout the pedigree. We take great care to select lines based on temperament and longevity to bring you a joyful companion you can trust.

Sire: Blue Sky’s Sonic Boom (Boomer) owned by John Olsen, is a family companion and top performing guide dog. He has a very pleasant personality, when working is best described as an intelligent, focused, driven and loyal field lab. Meeting Boomer for the first time, we were greeted with wags and a gentle lean against our leg as we talked to Mr. Olsen. He has clearances for OFA Hips & Elbows Certified, CERF and Genetic clearances & Championship bloodlines.

For generations her line is well accomplished in the field and/or performance, and all being home companions with an off switch. Thyme is a lighter yellow lab than Boomer with deep sweet dark eyes and always a smile on her face, she is one of the most affectionate labs we have ever known. Through the COVID epidemic she has filled in for service dog needs in our home and is always at our side. Thyme’s sire, Ted, owned by Shade Tree Kennels, is in the APLA Pointing Labrador Hall of Fame & the National Master Hunter Hall of Fame, Thyme’s dam is a field companion with a phenomenal performance and hall of fame field lineage. Thyme’s grandfather, Hunter, Rebel’s Hunter of Wasatch, owned by A. Ellis, is an incredible field dog that retrieved over 1100 birds in his first season as lead guide dog and is titled in dock diving. Hunter has been a wonderful family companion helping raise two young kids.

Each pup is raised inside our warm, friendly home, held gently every day, exposed to water, scent and wings, is vet checked, vet vaccinated, vet microchipped, has dewclaws removed, wormed according to CDC guidelines, is AKC registered. Each new owner goes home with a heritage pack to understand facets of their pup’s pedigree, copies of all clearances, appropriate toys, a book on puppy care, and quality food to get you both off to a good start. $1500 for boys. $3000 girls.
