He works the cover aggressively with a determined pace at moderate to medium range and consistent check-in. He runs his own independent course with great determination and game drive and likes to hit the heavy cover with purpose in his pursuit of game. He handles easily and is a joy to hunt behind. He is quick to the point, staunch when he gets there and is steady to wing and shot. He has been used frequently on our guided control shoots and holds points while other dogs and birds are worked in the same field. He backs naturally and has a good soft mouthed retrieve. He has been e-collar conditioned but it is rarely needed. He adjusts well to cover and quarry. He comes from a long line of proven champions and superior bird finders and this talent and style shows through in his field performance and kennel manners.
