Picks are given in the order deposits are received.  I take deposits for 3 male and 3 female per litter, though there are often more than 6 puppies in a litter. Litters are from strong field lines. Terms of deposit are as follows: Deposits are not refundable unless Mudbone Kennel is unable to provide the buyer with a puppy. Possible reasons for this may include the bitch failed to conceive, puppies were born with health problems, not enough puppies in litter, or the desired sex was not produced. Buyer would then have the option of changing to the other sex puppy if available, applying the deposit to the next available litter, or a refund. Seller reserves the right to determine the suitability of the buyers for a puppy. The balance of is to be paid in full before the puppy leaves our premises. If the puppy is to be shipped, buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping, required health certificate, and the cost of the shipping crate. If payment is made by personal check, it must arrive in time to have cleared the bank before the puppy leaves. All puppies must be paid for by the time they reach 8 weeks old, whether being shipped or picked up or deposit will be forfeited. If the buyers cannot come in person to select their puppy, photos will be sent to them to choose from. Puppy choices are given in the order deposits are received. Photos are taken when the puppies are about 6 weeks old. Buyers must select their puppy in a timely manner so that other buyers may make their selections.     All dogs are AKC registered, and OFA clear of Hip Dysplasia. Puppies come with a written hip and health warranty.  Tails are docked, pups are wormed, dewclaws removed, first shots are done.  My nine grandchildren and their friends make certain all the puppies are quite used to children. Vizslas do need a fair amount of exercise, 1-2 hours of running and playing every day.    We live in Ramona, which is part of San Diego County.  If you need your puppy shipped, it's really very easy. I take care of all the arrangements, all you do is pick up your pup at the airport. The total cost of airfare, crate, and required health certificate is usually $425, from here to any point in the US, depending on where it's going, and what airline we need to use.
