Eight pups of the June-West litter are almost 5 weeks old and are super "Birdy". They're strong and healthy and will be ready to go to new homes about August 15. They'll make great bird dogs and family companions. Male and female pups are available. I occasionally breed, only when I find the very best sire and dam to make the very best offspring. I need to start a new dog, and will be keeping a pup from this litter. These pups are bred to go anywhere with you; do anything with you; to be your best friend jogging, hiking or hunting. They are full of potential for never ending desire in the field, intense points and amazing retrieving ability. Along with all this comes a very trainable temperament and an easy to live with dog 365 days of the year. They were born and are being raised in our home; handled from the time they're born til they go to their new family in their 7th week. They're exposed to all the sights sounds and smells of living in our house. They will be family dogs that excel in the field to make an incredible hunting partner. The new litter, born June 24th comes from NAVHDA proven parents. The dam: Wind River June of Seelye Brook Farm earned perfect scores in both her Natural Ability Test and her "finished gun dog" Utility Test. She has shown herself to be an awesome personal gun dog and companion. Productive from her first season, she's a natural retriever and a very strong, moderate range dog, with a strong connection to the handler, If there's one bird in the field, she'll find it. She has an easy going, friendly, and very trainable attitude that makes her a joy to hunt with. The sire Martinsen's West Bound is a square built, intense pointing, bird finding field dog, equally great as a personal gun dog and companion. He's NAVHDA proven, having gone a step further; he's a NAVHDA Invitational Champion - the best there is in NAVHDA. West has a very likeale personality that transfers to the field in a very "aim to please" attitude. Intense points and high demand retrieves are what he lives for.
