About Brush Dale Hunting Preserve
We aim to provide the most natural pheasant hunting experience possible in a preserve setting, on a mixture of wild and released birds, in exceptional cover. Brush Dale Hunting Preserve's location very near Iowa's Mississippi River border makes it the perfect weekend getaway; convenient for corporate hunts; and a central location for your NAVHDA chapter's or dog club's conferences, training days, fun hunts, and testing grounds. Brush Dale is just 3 hours from Chicago or Milwaukee, 2 hours from Madison, 6 hours from the Twin Cities, 5 hours from Sioux City or St. Louis, and 60 minutes from the Quad Cities. Pheasant hunting season at Brush Dale runs from September 1st to March 31st. Avid hunters will not want to miss the opportunity to match wits with wild Manchurian-Ringneck Pheasant on the Preserve's restored Iowa Prairie. The Northern Prairie is a 200-acre sea of thick cover over gently rolling hills.

Submitted by: Jim Janda on Nov 06, 2012My family and I just got back from a wonderful weekend hunt at Brush Dale. We coundn't have been happier. Mark and Michelle were so accomodating and made us feel at home. My 11 year old son and 14 year old daughter had a blast. The lodge is beautiful and clean and everyone we ran into was so friendly and just happy to see us and our dogs. I would recommend to everyone especially with young hunters to give them a try. I couldn't tell the difference between hunting wild birds and the birds at Brush Dale. My kids even got to help with the feeding of 2 week old puppies!!!! Thanks again Mark and Michelle and we will be back again and again.
