About Wil-Nor Outdoors

The average upland bird season is under three months long...Spend your time hunting, NOT correcting your dog.

Our two month programs our designed for many different levels of training. Our two month puppy program gives an enjoyable introduction to birds and basic field commands. Most puppies that go through our two month program are hunting with an objective, solid on point, honoring and steady to flush. They understand the following commands: Here, Whoa, & Kennel.

We also take trained dogs for Spring/Summer "Tune Ups & Physical Conditioning.

Wil Nor is known for positive training methods and has trained all pointing breeds that have been sent all over the U.S.

If you are having a specific problem with your hunting companion that needs attention please feel free to call. Dog pick up and drop off is available throughout the U.S.

I brought a hard headed 8 month old english setter named doc to bill to see if he could do anything with him. So I turned him over to bill for the two program, I went out and watched bill work the dog several times to check on the progress. Shortly thereafter I received a call from bill saying doc was ready to come home. I was absolutly amazed, doc was hunting, listening to the whistle and pointing birds with style. Thanks to bill doc has turned into a fantastic hunting dog. I highly recommend bill to anyone who is considering having their dog professionally trained.

I have had two dogs, both Brittanies, trained by Bill Kunz, and they have been the best dogs I have ever hunted with. I have hunted with lots of dogs trained at Wil-Nor, and they are, without exception, great hunting companions. I have seen Bill take stubborn, hard cases and turn them into fine hunting dogs. The methods are simple, direct, consistent, patient, and persistent and they work. I've been hunting at places far from Wil-Nor and in the coffee shop heard a conversation between two people I did not know: "Well, if I were you I'd send him to Bill Kunz over in Missouri. He's the best I know of." It is the best recommendation I've heard.
