I bought a dog, Woody, from Buckshot about three years ago. My family has been around top of the line hunting dogs for years and Woody is the best dog that I have ever had the opportunity to hunt with. I took Woody home and he was well prepared to hunt ducks, pheasants, and dove, which I hunt every year. He has an excellent nose and more energy than he knows what to do with. He rarely loses a bird. Each time I take out a friend, all they can say is how great of a dog he is. They have never seen a dog make such long retrieves so consistently. I don't have to tell him to do a thing. He is completely self sufficient and knows what he is doing at all times. When I hunt by myself, I use him to help me look out for birds and he never fails me. Woody is always looking up and knows where the birds are and where they are falling. He is extremely focused and is all business.
