Bonasa Flats’ Autumn Beauty SH (“Shona”) earned her first NAVHDA Utility Test Prize I score on July 19, 2009 at the Kettle Moraine Chapter test held near Lomira, WI. Shona was successfully handled to her 204 point Prize I by Julie Mommaerts of Bonasa Flats Kennels in Wrightstown, WI. This was also Julie’s first career attempt at handling a dog in a NAVHDA Utility test. By posting a Prize I score, Shona and Julie will now secure a pass to the 2010 NAVHDA Invitational. Earlier this year, Julie handled Shona to her AKC Senior Hunter title and also passed one leg toward Master Hunter. The other proud partners of Bonasa Flats Kennels – John Voight and Brian Blanke – send heartfelt congratulations to Julie and Shona for their accomplishment!
