I have a 20-month old Spinone Italiano from Teri. This is my first Spinone and I did a lot of research on the breed and breeders. I could not be happier with my choice. Sophia scored Prize Class 1 on the NAVHDA Natural Abilities test which I was thrilled about since I was as much a rookie going into the training as she was. We are currently preparing for the Canine Good Citizen test. Teri is always available when I have questions about grooming, training, or anything else that baffles me. Sophia is a sweet, friendly, smart, good natured young dog-everything I hoped for in the breed. I highly recommend Teri if you are considering this breed.

About 6 years ago we were fortunate enough to have been able to rescue two Spinone Italiano ages, 8 and 10. Mia (Quattro Zampe Sarvi) will be 16 on May 21st and still enjoys long daily walks and lying in the sun for hours regardless of the temperature. We are not hunters, but understand Mia was an excellent hunter in her day. She is a sweetie. When we lost Eddie in 2018, we learned that Teri had a litter on 6/28/18 and one was still available. So we got Vinny (Quattro Zampe Vizianello. Vinny LOVES to play. He has a great nose and is a deep thinker and an exceptional tracker. Teri has been great. She is always there to answer our questions and concerns and offer sound advise. We would definitely go to her if we were looking for another puppy.

After researching this unique breed for many years and patiently waiting for a available puppy I am so pleased we were able to get one from Teri at Quattro Zampe. She was highly recommended and I can see why. Our now 7 month old puppy has been grouse hunting and did excellent, she will be starting her manners class and then on to her CGC. She has exceeded all my expectations. Teri's choice in breeding is impressive and her experience with the breed really shows with her puppies. I would highly recommend this kennel no matter how long the wait, I wouldn't consider another breeder,
She has been very helpful thru the entire process of having a puppy.

We were looking for a versatile hunting dog that would be a good companion for us in retirement and most importantly good with our small grandchildren. Our son had researched breeds for his daughters and suggested that a Spinone would meet our needs. The literature we read on the breed led us to look for a reputable breeder and we found Teri Turner of Quattro Zampe.

Teri could not have been more helpful. She allowed us to come down and meet her dogs and we signed up for one of her next litters. In September of 2015, Brigida arrived and she came home with us in November. Teri has always been available to answer our questions and provide us with helpful tips for caring for Brigida. We could not be more pleased. Brigida is everything the literature about the breed suggests. She is a wonderful companion, gentle and patient with children, smart and easy to train, has a distinctive sense of humor and is a great house pet.

Unfortunately we signed up to late to have her complete a NAVHDA Natural Ability test but we have no doubt she is a natural hunter. In the field she has shown excellent tracking and retrieving instincts and in training pointed and retrieved without any hesitation or gun shyness. She responds well to field commands and is a steady worker always keeping in sight and quartering the field well.

We are looking forward to our years with Brigida and glad to have found such a great hunter and companion.

Prior to investing in a hunting dog and companion, I researched various Breeders and purchased my male Spinone from Teri with Quattro-Zampe. I was very pleased with this breeder through every step of the process. She was in contact with me throughout the entire time with updates and pictures. I truly believe Luca is of top quality. He is just short of a year old and is highly intelligent and good natured. I am looking forward to many memorable years watching Luca grow and learn to hunt. Thank you Teri.

After researching the breed we contacted Teri in the spring of 2014 to inquire about a pup and were immediately impressed with her knowledge and willingness to answer all of our questions. We took the 3 hour trip to visit the pups in May and our daughter immediately bonded with one of her brown roan females. 4 weeks later we came home with Ziti. She has been a great addition to the family and seems to have a great hunting instinct.

We hope to hunt with Ziti and eventually train her to be a therapy dog. Everyone who meets her comments on her calm demeanor and her cute fuzzy face. Teri has been very quick to respond whenever we have had a question or needed any advice.

We are very happy we chose Quattro Zampe!

In 2004 we lost our wonderful yellow lab, Jake, to lung cancer. We knew we wanted a dog with a similar disposition and after much research decided upon a spinone. We were lucky enough to find Teri and Quattro Zampe Spinone after many calls and referrals from other breeders. Teri had a litter and there were two males available. My husband flew out to Iowa (we live in Massachusetts) and brought Gus, an orange roan, home. We fell instantly in love with him and the breed. He had the best temperament, totally goofy at times and sweet and loving always. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 9 last year. It wasn't long before we knew that while we could never replace him, we wanted another spinone in the house. Once again, we were lucky enough to find that Teri had a litter coming up. And once again, my husband flew out to bring Harry, a brown roan, home. He is 6 months old now and has filled our home with so much joy. Harry is so sweet, attentive and smart as can be.
Teri is an exceptional breeder. She truly loves her dogs and is always there for you. She has blessed us with two of the most wonderful companions ever and I can not thank her enough.

After loosing our Golden, we were looking for another family pet with great personality, soft mouth, eager to please, trainable, large, and wanting a reciprocal relationship. Our vet has a Quattro Zampe dog in their day care. We met that family, talked about the breed and breeder. In contacting Teri we had lots of questions for her, and she had lots for us.

We are 9 hours from Teri's Quattro Zampe kennel but Teri was very generous to invite us to visit three times and take part in socializing the puppies. Teri played noise tapes for the puppies, getting them used to the typical house noises (blenders, vacuums, babies) and outdoor noises (fireworks, gun shots, car alarms). Teri watches each puppy and supplemented feedings where needed. We told her what we were looking for in a family dog and she steered us to the litter mates that were showing those qualities. Home raised with dog siblings, mom, grandmom and auntie.

Finally on our third visit we got to bring our Pirelli home in June. His first weekend home and he was already retrieving the newspaper without a bit of prompting. His first 4th of July and he was unaffected by the fireworks, even going outside to eliminate during the local fireworks grand finale. His first day at day care and the staff complimented us that Pirelli engages in play well with other dogs and enjoys checking back in with the humans for pets. At 3 months he was on point with the neighborhood ducks. At 4 months he was jogging me a quarter-mile carrying a stuffed animal the whole way. At 5 months he was playing at the off-leash dog park.

Will we ever go out without having to explain about his breed? Will our kitchen floor ever again be dry (that beard!)? Will we ever be able to see out of the passenger window of our truck again (he likes to ride shotgun). That's a No to all of those. But we couldn't care a bit. Pirelli will be 6 months next week, so our days together are just starting. Pirelli and his sweet goofiness has wiggled his way right into our family. When his little nubbin of a tail wags, his whole bottom goes and there isn't a person in the vicinity without a smile on their face.

We are really enjoying our little guy (did we say little?! He is 55 pounds at almost 6 months) and the guidance we still get from Teri. We are grateful to have found her Quattro Zampe kennel and our Pirelli.

We have a wonderful hunting Spinone from Quattro Zampe. Sackett naturally searches, points, and retrieves. Most of all however, she is an outstanding family pet. She turns her hunting desire on and off, making her a dream dog. We couldn't be happier with all of our interactions with Teri. And after 5 years, we remain thrilled with our four-legged friend.

I currently own a spinone that we purchased through Teri Turner and Quattro Zampe kennels. "Rosi" will be two years old this spring...we brought her home as a 9 week old puppy last summer, and she quickly became a much loved member of our family. I had been intrigued by the breed for many years, done some research, and attended several dog shows to make contact with local breeders. My interest in Spinone is as a family companion, hunting companion, conformation, and possibly breeding in the future. Teri's breeding program meets all these requirements. She is interested in producing dogs that are true to type and function, offering advice and mentoring to families that receive her puppies. Having no experience in terms of hunting, Teri provided guidance and support as I worked with Rosi to prepare her for her NAVHDA NA Test. I took advantage of two NAVDHA training days, and a Mock Test before running Rosi at 12 months. Rosi earned a perfect Prize 1 score of 112, and later that summer, two legs of her AKC Junior Hunter. Rosi has amazing natural hunting ability, and is a joy to watch in the field.

Rosi has also excelled in the show ring, earning her first major at the Land O Lakes show this past January, well on her way to her championship. In my experience, after taking a traditional obedience class for gun dogs, and a positive reinforcement class, I find that spinone are a responsive breed, eager to please, and quick learners. They are a "soft" breed that responds well to positive reinforcement, are brilliant in the field, and a wonderful couch potato at home.

I recommend Teri highly as a breeder. She realizes the importance of careful breedings to produce healthy puppies true to form and function, early socialization during the first weeks, and is happy to provide advice and mentoring.

We have a nearly 1-year old male Spinone from Teri and Quattro Zampe Spinone. I am an avid hunter, and enjoy both upland bird hunting, and waterfowl hunting. I have owned hunting companions my whole life, but have always hunted behind, and owned flushers. I have enjoyed hunting with others who had pointing dogs.

When I started looking for a hunting companion, I was looking for a slow, close working dog, as one of the most enjoyable parts of hunting to me is watching a dog work. I did my homework, and Spinone sounded like the ideal breed for me. I connected with Teri through a local Spinone owner who got her first Spinone from Teri. We very much liked the young Spinone this woman had and contacted Teri about the possibility of a puppy from an upcoming litter. We were impressed that Teri's dogs excelled both in the field and the show-ring. My wife enjoys showing dogs as a hobby and I was hoping for an outstanding hunting companion that would also be a wonderful family dog. We couldn't be more thrilled with Ben, our Spinone. At less than a year, he has made three, week-long trips to South Dakota and he has met and exceeded all my expectations for a hunting companion. He has helped me bag many phesants, sharp-tail grouse, and Hungarian Partridge already in his young life.

I look forward to many more years of hunting fun with Ben. And when I'm looking for my next hunting companion, Teri and Quattro Zampe Spinone will be my first call!

Our 5-year old Spinone, Bella, is a fantastic hunter and wonderful family dog with a fun and playful personality! We have a small house with a small yard, but she does very well. She goes camping with us and does very well in a tent, boat, and canoe. She is smart, learns quickly, and is well-mannered and obedient which is important for us and our lifestyle for her safety and our sanity.

Ben is an upland game hunter and we had a wonderful golden retriever that not only made a great hunting companion, but was first and foremost a member of our family. After Sunny passed, Ben decided he wanted to try working with a pointer. After some research, he found the Spinone and we were intrigued by their hunting ability and all-around good-natured personality.

Barb had a lengthy conversation with Teri Turner to learn more about the Spinone and her kennel. On the flip side, Teri asked many questions as well to make sure we'd provide a good home for her pup.

We were sold! It was quite evident that the Quattro Zampe kennel and Teri and Chris are professional, concerned, and thoughtful breeders and we were pleased that they were raising strong hunters. We passed the test too!

One of the things we value most about the Quattro Zampe kennel is that we have a continuing relationship with Teri that she encourages. We keep in touch on Spinone topics, share photos, and we know we can contact her any time with questions. It's fun to keep track of the other dogs and have this connection.

We have two Quattro Zampe males, ages 5.5 and 7 years old, from Teri. I cannot express how highly impressed we are with Teri and her breeding program. We feel extremely lucky to have two of her babies. Both of are boys are not only great family dogs, we have a 2.5 year old son, but the are great hunters and show dogs as well. Our youngest Spin in 2006 was ranked 12th in the nation by the AKC among all Spinoni show dogs. Both of our boys are also accomplished hunters. Our oldest boy scored a 108 prize 2 in Navhda NA and our youngest scored a 112 prize 1 in Navhda NA. Our youngest also earned his AKC Junior Hunter title. But those titles don't tell you the story of how much fun they have given our family in the hunting field and at home. They are pefectly happy going from the hunt field back to the home. I have hunted wild quail, sharptail grouse, prairie chickens, hungarian partridge, and pheasant with my two QZ Spinoni and they have always put birds in my bag with style. But the best thing I can tell anyone is that Teri has been a wonderful friend and mentor. She has always been available to answer questions and support my family in everthing we have done with our Spinoni. From the show ring to the hunting field to the home; I could not ask for more from the two wonderful Spin boys that Teri allowed us to take into our family.

We have two Spinone's from the Quattro Zampe Kennel. Our 3 year old male is an awesome hunter of both upland birds and waterfowl. Our young female has been retrieving birds since 12 weeks of age and is progressing just as our male did. We wouldn't hesitate to purchase another pup from Teri and Chris. They are knowledgeable and very prompt in getting back with you if you have questions.
Great breeders!!!

We have a female Spinone from Quattro Zampe born in May 2004. She is an excellent hunter with fantastic natural ability. I would not hesitate at all to get another Spinone from Teri. She's a very concientious breeder and we were very happy in our dealings with her and her response to us when we had follow up questions.
Great dog! Great breeder! Highly recommend.
