Luna was a star on October 20th. I was shooting mostly by myself and unfortunately don’t have any pictures. She acted like a seasoned dog within a few hours! I’ve never had a dog like her. Thanks so much! I will be taking her to AZ in December and I will get photos of her in action.

David.

We bought our first Sussex Spaniel from Angela in 2017 and are delighted to be the first to review one. After researching the breed for months, we finally took the plunge and are absolutely in love with the LBD breed. The breeder went above the call of duty to ensure that we were armed with knowledge and ins and outs of this rare breed, and had the resources we needed to be happy with our fur baby. We are looking forward to trying some light grouse hunting with her this fall.

This is a quick shout out of appreciation for Rook. He is from TobyxZeeZee. Best dog ever. Got his agility initials and is a certified lap dog affectionado, still at 6. Have a great day. Dennis

We purchased a wonderful dog from this breeder 14.5 years ago, lost him just this year. We have had three field springers and he was the best dog we have ever had. Currently waiting for another one.

Two year old Storm (Haley X Ice) is doing very well. We are getting ready for 4 Master level hunt tests in Monmouth Oregon the third weekend in August.

She runs hard and big. Hits the water like a lab. Marks well, is attentive and loves to train and hunt. Once per week we go to a dog park to train and honor other dogs.

She flushes hard. Steadying is coming along well. She understands it but still will sometimes chase 10 to 15 yards. At home she is steady to wing and shot, however yesterday on new training grounds with the club, she chased a few yards. We need to be more crisp but it will come. She is very good on blinds however it is hard around here to find good training ground for masters level blinds.

She is a delightful dog and a wonderful family pet.

After masters title I hope to trial her. That will be new to me so I have a lot to learn as well.

My wife and I moved to Kansas last year and decided we couldn't live in Kansas and not have a bird dog. I was deployed to Kuwait at the time and had lots of time to research every Field Springer Spaniel breeder I could find. We decided on Hellfire Springers and got a puppy from the Haley X Ice breeding. We could not be happier with our puppy, or Angela for answering hours worth of first time Springer owner questions. Last week prairie chicken season opened and we decided Riley (almost 8 months old) was ready for her first hunting trip. She did amazing. She stayed close and quartered beautifully infront of my wife and I. She even flushed 4 birds perfectly for us on her first trip out. This was also the first time I fired actual rounds over her and it didn't faze her at all. I'm definitely the weak link in the hunting partnership, all 4 birds are still alive and well for our next trip out. She absolutely loved it. I tried to shoot Skeet Sunday afternoon, after our second hunting trip, and as soon as she saw me get my shotgun out of the safe, she ran to my Jeep, jumped in and refused to get out.

We couldn't be happier with her. She learns everything extremely quickly and does most things naturally, which works out great since she is the first Springer I have worked with. Some of the time I feel like I'm learning more from her than she is from me. I can't wait for quail and pheasant season to open next month. I know she'll find birds and put them up for us, now the pressure is on me. Just wanted to give you a quick update and say thanks again.

We are from Missoula and have a wonderful gun dog puppy from this breeder and are already making plans on buying a second one within the next year or two. A+++ seller, fantastic dogs and excellent, caring customer service. Just do it.

I have the extreme pleasure of owning and working a pup from this kennel. Angus is being trained to be a C. Difficile detection dog. Before getting Angus (Haley x Bones), I spent many hours researching different breeders and many more hours speaking with Angela on the phone. She wanted a complete understanding of what I was looking for in a detection dog, so she could pair me up with the right dog. And she did one "hell" of a job! Angus is everything and more a professional K9 handler would want in a partner. In fact, Angus, is receiving international attention for his work and being followed by some of the top medical professionals in the world. Without Angela's passion for the breed, expertise in breeding and knowing her lines so well NONE of my work with Angus would be possible.

I have an 18 month old male from the Mia and Mickey parents that just does not quit in the field! Hands down the best hunting and retrieving springer I've ever had. The wife loves him even more. Thank you for allowing us to have one of your excellent dogs.

Our family can't say enough nice things about our dog from this breeder. They were very helpful with basic care info, training books and always available for questions. I used to do upland hunting with a pointer as a youngster, but life gets in the way sometimes and our puppy was supposed to just be a family pet. He retrieves everything I throw and is fearless in cover on our backcountry hikes, so I am inspired to do some hunting once again. We are in total love with our dog. Thank you Hellfire Springers!

We have been a lab family for 30 ysars and bought our first springer earlier this year. We have been delighted with our puppy and our breeder experience has been excellent. We were given a wheelbarrow of information and 24 hr support to make sure we are successful with our dog. Our puppy was crate trained and only had one accident ever. He retrieves anything you throw for him and has been much easier than any lab we have had. We highly recommend this breeder.

Hellfire was a fantastic choice for a breeder! I did a lot of investigation looking for a breeder that could give me a special dog. My seven month old puppy has been just that; a very special dog. The best part are the compliments from others on his attitude, behaviors, intelligence and his overall look. I'm very satisfied.

I have a 2009 male and he is the best hunting springer buddy I have ever owned. This Breeder made a huge effort to help us and ensure the best possible start after we brought our baby boy home. Everybody loves him, especially the wife. Completely satisfied and highly recommend.

We love our Hellfire springer! Highly recommend them. Wish I could have another now but I'll be back for another someday. Keep up the good work.

We have two Hellfire springers. One is out of Maia who will be 9 years old this year, and the other is a new puppy out of Spanky's 2011 litter. Both are exceptional family dogs, very quiet and clean. Our older dog has been an extraordinary gun dog on waterfowl and upland birds. When the time comes, we'll be back for a third Hellfire springer. Great dogs from this kennel!

Very helpful and knowledgeable. A+ breeder. Expensive but worth every penny as the parents are the very best quality and are fully health screened. We have two Hellfire males. Puppies are raised right and selectively placed, as they should be.

Five years ago today "Little Eddie" or "Fast Eddie" (Spanky's brother) was born. Time to let you know again what a dog Cheetah and Diamond produced. We don't know how Eddie could be better. He is, of course, spoiled; lives in the house, eats in the kitchen, sleeps on the sofa, has a large fenced yard and gets to hunt a lot. He deserves all this as he is an incredibly easy dog to live and hunt with. Sociable, smart, eager to please, always ready to play. I know he can read our minds. Even our cat likes him. I (Tom) simply could not ask for a better hunting dog. Very eager hunter - works all the cover, but keeps track of me and hunts wherever I point or wherever I'm facing rather than just taking off to hunt independently. If there are any birds to be found he will find them and when I knock a bird down he will find it, no matter what. We very rarely lose a bird. You might remember chewing me out for starting hunting him at five months. He was ready. I've shot about 950 (all wild) birds over him and he has a tremendous local reputation; I could tell you more about that if you're interested. One indulgence I do grant him is his passion for chasing turkeys. He is so happy when he can flush a turkey that I've never tried to stop him and he does immediately come back and resume the search for pheasants or quail. I think all dogs should have a few quirks. We wanted to tell you what a large and satisfying part Eddie plays in our lives. Please give Cheetah a "well done" and an extra treat tonight. Best regards from Tom and Mary K. (Idaho)

Was just checking out the site and saw you're listing. Everything is going great with Molson and if you get puppies again, would be interested in getting him a buddy. He is a great gun dog but his personality is priceless. Thanks so much for breeding great dogs Angela!

Just thought I would check in. Keena just got fixed and everything went well. She is a great dog! She is so sweet and loving in the house and great with the kids. Outside she is doing great. I cant wait to get her on some birds this fall. Her instincts are incredible. She is relentless on retrieving her bumpers and is very attentive to commands. Her willingness to learn and please make her a joy to have. Thanks again she has made a big splash with everyone she comes in contact with. I hope all is well with you. Have a great summer.

I wanted to give you a 6 month update on Sam. He is doing fantastic on his training and is having a lot of fun.
Very mello and extremely smart. He is shaping up to be probably the best hunting dog I have owned yet and I have had two good ones. He is going to be HELL on the pheasants. Hope everything is well and thanks for all you have done to raise
such good dogs.

We purchased our Springer from this breeder last fall and have had nothing but wonderful experiences with her. From the time she was shipped to us the breeder made sure she was safe from the cold weather and airport delays and from the moment we saw her we knew this pup was something special. She has already proven her hunting instincts and is the most delightful house dog anyone could imagine. We highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a great hunting and family dog!!

We have had field springers in our family for about 20 years and I purchased a male puppy from Hellfire Springers in 2006. I cannot say enough nice things about our guy. I could not have asked for a better hunting buddy, have taken him to SD, ND, NE, Eastern WA, OR, MT, but it's his personality that really makes him addicting. He is a very special dog and I am excited to buy another one from the same female this year.

After only one hunting trip I was pleased beyond expectations with the Springer pup I purchased from Hellfire Kennels. They are expensive but it is money well spent for the hunting and temperament quality is simply better than anything I have ever purchased before.

I highly recommend this A+++ breeder and I can guarantee that I will buy another dog from them in the future.

We were a lab family until we purchased a Hellfire Springer in 2006 and now there is no going back for us. We highly recommend this breeder. Our dog can find birds better than anybody elses dog we know and he is an outstanding retriever and nice house pet for the kids to play with. Angela, thanks so much for our very special Buddy!

We purchased a Hellfire Springer puppy in 2008 and I have no doubt he will be a phenomenal gun dog this fall. He exceeded all our expectations, was well socialized, even came to us at ten weeks old already knowing how to sit and walk on a leash, which made graduating as top puppy in obedience class very easy for us.

We shopped around and looked at 20 different breeders before making our decision. Hellfire has very high quality dogs, outstanding pedigrees, with superb temperament and they are raised in a beautiful environment, perfect for stimulating hunting instincts.

We highly recommend and will definitely buy another puppy from them in the near future.
