TESTAMONIAL 3 > Ripley ~ Stella/Tick 2010 male: Ripley is an awesome dog and he adapted to our family immediately. He and his big "brother" Cooper (our golden retriever) are the best of friends. He was the absolute easiest dog to train as he was housebroken in 2 days!! Ripley also has the best temperament that I have ever seen. While our older dog is full our energy, Ripley is our mellow pup who prefers to snuggle with everyone. It always amazes everyone that he is still a puppy since he is so mellow an easy going. He loves the swimming, retrieving and running so much that we wonder if he is ever going to tire out. Ripley attended beginner hunter training last fall and was introduced to birds which was a joy to watch. My husband and Ripley spend a lot of time in the woods and Ripley has got him several birds already. He gives us a great deal of laughter since he sees a gun of any kind and is so excited he can't concentrate on anything but hunting. He is super sweet with all kids and really has been a blessing to have in our family. ~ Brenda
TESTAMONIAL 2B > More on Louie ~ I took a video from a camera of Louie retrieving a bumper from our pool, at 5 months old, and climbing up out of the pool via the ladder and bringing it back to me. ~ Steve
TESTAMONIAL 2A > "Louie" a Stella/Tick 3/2010 male> He is completely unbelievable. These pictures are taken when Louie was just under 5 months old. We had worked with pigeons and quail previous to this hunt but this was the first pheasant outing. I only released hens as I was nervous about a wounded rooster WOW was I wrong. This guy is a retrieving fool. He has retrieved numerous pheasants, ducks, grouse and even two Geese this fall. He absolutely loves water and runs wide open to retrieve anything then runs just as fast to get it back to me. ~ Steve
TESTAMONIAL 1 > Striker-(Stella/Tick male 9 months old) His trainer Doug> "He was doing 30-40+ yard marks at the age of 3-4 months. The thing that I love about Striker is his eye contact. He is constantly looking at you and watching you. He is a very quiet and calm in his crate/kennel, yet kicks into high gear when he is out. His training is going well as he is a natural retriever. At 9 months old he is doing simple doubles and site blinds. We do have to keep challenging him as he gets bored easily. He surely should be successful on his journey to be a Master Hunter. He is very focused and very fast and tractible and runs nice straight lines. He is a joy to work with and is very exciting to watch retrieve. I AM VERY PROUD OF HIS PROGRESS!"
