Our season usually opens with some exciting dove hunts and our DD's are there making it happen. We love to watch them retrieve and be such a great companion in all of our hunts!
Dixie pointing at only 3 1/2 months old. She has become an outstanding versatile hunting dog and loves to point, retrieve, waterwork and blood tracking.
Dixie is 3 years old and is an outstanding versatile hunting dog. She points all upland bird, backs other pointing dogs and handles extremely well.
Dixie was a early starting dog on pointing and retrieving. Here she is retrieving well at 3 months of age.
Dixie has a great temperment with children and adults, as well as other dogs. We look forward to her producing a fine litter of versatile hunting dogs.
Gunner is a wonderful 4 year old Schwsch (black and white ticked) female from the von der Salzmarsch kennel in Utah. Gunner has proven to be a very biddable dog with a lot of natural ability as she is very focused on whoever is handling her, takes to training easily, and is absolutely driven to find game. Gunner's test scores in tracking and use of nose demonstrates these abilities, and she also possesses a natural temperament that is required in our dogs. Gunner knows when to turn on her drive as well as when to settle down in the house or kennel. Gunner has been a joy to train as she is very intelligent, wise in use of nose, has proven stamina, and is atentative to the hunter. Gunner is experienced in hunting rabbits, waterfowl, pheasants, and quail, and she has proven to be versatile in blood tracking.
Leopold vom Tapferen Herzen is a very athletic dog with a muscular build, a beautiful coat and a generous beard. He has proven to be very biddable, cooperative, with a strong nose, intense point, and is very strong in the water. Leo is the result of a breeding between Biene v. Erthal and Ian vom Tapferen Herzen. This breeding produced a very well balanced litter in both performance and coat/ Conformation. The average VJP test score for this litter was 70.8 , and the average HZP test score was 179.1.
