20 ga semi-auto benelli ultra light.I might be interested in buying a used 20 ga benelli ultra light shot gun. Email me if you have one that you would part with.
Re: 20 ga semi-auto benelli ultra light.I heard that 20 gauges were for girls. Just Kidding. I have a 20 gauge single shot that I use a lot for training. Paid $65 for it brand new at the hardware store when I was 14. Benelli guns are a little out of my price range but you can find them used once in a while.
Re: 20 ga semi-auto benelli ultra light.20 ga are for girls? Common on - anything larger for upland game is un-sporting! OK I will break out my AyA 12 ga side by side in early season when the folidge is heavy, but don't tell anyone. Make sure the gun fits your shooting style before you buy - pheasant you have all day and a long barrel has it's benefits but if you are snap shooting for Ruffled Grouse or Woodcock you might want a short barrel that is butt heavy so you can get it to your shoulder in a hurry. I tend to get a better sight picture with a SxS than an O/U - but most of the guys I hunt with find the opposite to be true. If you are going from an auto or a pump for ducks and geese to a double barrel for upland you might want to find one with a single trigger so you don't retrain yourself for the second trigger. Try going to Cabela's web site and checking out the gun library. You should be able to find anything you might be looking for and sometimes at a steal. If nothing else - it is great eye candy.
Re: 20 ga semi-auto benelli ultra light.Yeah Wolvmarine, you are right about the Cabelas site!! Wow lot's of beautiful guns to lust after

Re: 20 ga semi-auto benelli ultra light. When I was young n dumb.....lol, when I was a noob at hunting I used a 12ga for everything, mostly because I couldn't afford anything else, but also because it was easier to hit game with.
I picked up an Ithaca 20 ga featherlight and put the 12 ga up, only to come down for deer (slugs) or goose (full choke) hunting. I love my mod 37. Have had it since the 70's and plan on keeping it.
Re: 20 ga semi-auto benelli ultra light.Maybe I should give the 20 bores a good look. I did notice that you can shave off quite a bit of weight by going down a notch. The 12 gauges are always heavier. A couple of my hunting buddies are die-hard 16 gauge fans. But, they reload their own shells. I mostly stick with the 12 out of economy.
Re: 20 ga semi-auto benelli ultra light.
20's are more economical to use and can be very much lighter for less money. My Ithaca is made in the USA and as good a quality as you will ever need for upland game. Just use the correct choke barrel for the type of hunting you will do and you will see the benefits.
Re: 20 ga semi-auto benelli ultra light.62 years old and have a 10 gauge, 3 1/2 twelve, both of these are for ducks and geese. But my all time favorite is an SKB 20 over and under. it is surprising how far out you can reach with it. A few years back I was hunting with some highschool football players and told them they should give me first shot since I was soooo much older and only shooting a little 20. They agreed. They didn't get to shoot for awhile. They decided that the perk was over. Still out shot em, they were using heavy 12's and that little 20 came up so fast that still beat em! And a whole lot less pellets to dig out of the birds
