Retriever Goals

So everybody, what are your retriever/hunt test goals for 2010?

I would love for my retreiver to make retreives on the ice but he wont. he wont even jump across five foot of ice to get in the water. We kill geese over a frozen pond and he refuses to go out on it, no problems in the field, just on ice.

How old is he? Is it possible for you to break the ice to make a path for him out? He is probably just scared to go in the water like that. Do you do a lot of water retrieves with him in the summer and fall? That would seem to at least give you some tools to work with....

I am working our 2 yr old black female to get her SH this summer. We are also bringing home a yellow that will be two in May. She has the basics done so we will be working on her JH. Took last year off to have a baby and I am so happy to be getting back in the game!

Goals- Have three that are all Sh but are working on MH so the goal is to finish all three. One dog has 4 pass's, another three. and another just one. and also have a new dog that is 1 1/2 year old that I want to start in SH this year but will probably run a JH or two as he is a wild child and I need to get him to calm down a bit before that SH comes into play.

Goals- Have 2 dogs needing to finish Senior titles, and would like to put Finished titles on at least 3 if not 4 dogs. Then if things go really well, start my two 4 month old pups working on their Seasoned and Senior titles by late fall. Could be a busy summer!!

My goals are for four new HRCH's this fall and perhaps a Master pass for a couple of them I would also like a couple seasoned passes on a couple other little dogs. Two Grand passes at the fall test would also make it into a great year!
