Westerly is our 8 year old pure bred yellow lab. She is from hunting stock of from Hat Creek Labradors in Geneseo IL.
She is very energetic, loves to run and fetch. She is excellent at my parents farm and comfortable around gun shot when my dad is skeet shooting.
My dilemma is that she is 8 with extremely high energy. We live in the city with two young children. She is friendly and knows her commands sit, stay etc., but runs any chance she can get and doesn't turn back.
I'd love for her to be on a farm and have the freedom to roam but not sure what to do. She's not a rescue, she just needs room to roam. Any suggestions on where to begin this process?
