Brittney Blood Lines

Postby 43x » Sat Jan 08, 2011 8:14 am

Looking at buying a pup. I train and run labs. I've mainly done HRC Hunt tests.
Anyway wanting to train a pointing dog (brittany) but don't know a thing about the blood lines in this breed. What are some of the top lines in the FC / AFC games
Thanks

Nolan's Last Bullet is one of the top lines today. The dog (Buddy) has been dead for a couple of years but his line is being carried on. Buddy was one of the winnest dogs of all time in NSTRA. The owner is Nolan Hoffman with Beeline Brittanys in North Carolina. Here's his web site: http://www.beelinebrittanys.com/ Nolan is a really nice guy and all he does is raise Brittanys and train dogs.

Here some other NFC lines:
NFC Bean's Blaze
NFC Lobos's Cotton Canby
NFC Renegade Kansas Kid
NFC Microdot

My 2 year old has all the above in her pedigree. There are a lot more great Brittanys out there, you just have to do some research. The breeder I got my dog from is in the Denver area and is planning a litter soon. Same dam (Annie) as mine but not sure who the sire is going to be. My dog's sire is Brady. He's Steve Chang with Godfather Gun Dogs. http://www.godfathergundogs.com/
