Forum is great idea. Georgia has one that I contribute to a lot & pictures are a hot thread that get a lot of people submitting.
Let me know. you can private message (pm) me if that is an option here too.
I have limited the size of attached photos to 800x600 pixels. You can also post photos hosted elsewhere by using the "img tags" for example the following code....... - Code: Select all

.....will post this photo X Man wrote:Yea, suggestions on pictures. I guess my pics are too big a file. Avatar not working either.... file too big.
Avatars are limited to a pixel size of 100x100 pixels. I will increase the file size limit, but in order to keep things uniform we'll keep the 100x100 pixel limit on avatars. I hope that helps!

Unfortunately, I am in the same "too excited to think before I start" boat... could I also be changed? to KQuartersnShorts ?
I really like this forum idea - I think it will become a great asset to the hunting community, especiall the beginners who come up with some of the best questions!
Thanks again! KKariger

OK maybe I can help on this one. I went to my pictures and right clicked on the photo I wanted to use for an avatar, hit make a copy, and saved a copy with the name avatar. Then right click on that one and hit edit. windows should have a resize button and a crop feature. I croped it to the smallest I could and still have the main pic I wanted to save. Then saved that. Then In resize click on pixels and just take it down in #'s till it's small enough. Save that, and when you put your mouse on the photo it should tell you the size. If it meets the max, for your avatar you can then put it in.Make sure you make a copy first. Name that avatar, then you have one to play with first before you do what I just said. That way you dont loose your original. And if you screw it up you can do another one. It had my photo stuck to one side of the screen, so the croping arrows or points only worked on the right and bottom, I hit rotate 180 and pulled some off the other sides. Then rotate 180 again and save, so it was right side up. You may have to crop a few times till you get it below the max size. Pixel #'s you can just type in.
For downloading pics. you can put them in photobucket or somewhere. In photobucket you then check the box below the pic. and click generateHTML button, click on the opption for message boards to highlight the URL's and rt. click and copy, then back out to your post and paste it to the post. It will insert your pics. URL, click the curser to the begining and hit enter a couple times to give you room to type text at the top. Put your curser at the top again and type away. Then Submit and you should have it.
A K, that is a beautifull picture, my camera is not that nice.
