"Smudge" is a beautifully marked liver and white male puppy (born December 21st), out of two lines of proven field winners. His sire is Rebel's Hightail Lukedogg (Runner-up winner of the 2009 ABC Western Gun Dog Futurity), and his dam is Midas Klick Tat's Hot Ta Molly. Both of Molly's grand-sires are well-known in the field trial community; 4x American Field CH, FC/AFC Tejas Iron Mike (winner of the US Open Brittany Championship in 2003 and 2005), and NFC/FC/AFC Lobo's Klick A Tat County Line.

Luke and Molly are both OFA certified GOOD.  

Smudge is a bold and confident puppy, with the right amount of independence for his age. He's learning the all important lessons on "how to be a good dog" from us and the other dogs, and has become a very likable puppy. He loves people and other dogs, and is smart enough to know who wants to play with him and who wants to be left alone. The first time we showed him a dead pigeon, the switch was turned on and he made 3-4 snappy retrieves from tosses up to 30 feet.

Smudge had a complete vet exam at 7 weeks, and has had two DHPP vaccines, along with routine de-worming. He will be micro-chipped before he leaves here, and AKC registered.
