Shag finished his Derby career with 9 points and became QAA at 23 months. Shag has All Age Placements in both Canada and the United States and qualified for the 2007 Canadian National Open. Shag is currently on Al Arthur's truck. When not trialing, Shag competes in formal obedience and is used as a hunting dog. With very limited training in formal obedience, Shag earned his CD title with a 1st and two 2nd places. Shag has a terrific temperament, gets along well with other dogs, and loves children. He is very outgoing, has an excellent training attitude, excellent marking dog, and runs his blinds as fast as his marks.
