This pup is the Daughter of Five Star Rocket Pete who is the son of the 2005 CNAFC CFC AFC FC He's Zar Nicholas and is the grandson of 2003 NFC FC Five Star General Patton. Rocket was being groomed to compete in the National Bird Dog Challenge Assocaition but after a summer of training with some of the top hunt test trainers we have elected to put him to work towards his Master Hunter Title. At the rate that he is going I am told that a Master Title on Rocket should be in reach by the end of of the 2010 Summer. The mother of these pups is the sister of the 2006 National Bird Dog Challenge National Champion and is the Daughter of the only 3 time National Bird Dog Challenge National Champion, Brown's go Getter Gus. Gus was a very hard charging retriever on waterfowl and pointed his upland birds better then a lot of pointers. Hunter, River's brother and 2006 National Champion, also is hard charging retriever. Lacking his father's strong pointing instinct is about the only thing that he did not get from his Dad. River is used as my personal gun dog on upland birds and on the duck marsh. She shows a little point every once in awhile. This pup already have a littermate that has been pointing since the age of 6 weeks. Pointing is something that we are not breeding for but it is showing up more and more frequently. We do however strive to breed for quality gun dogs and dog that will excel in other retriever hunting tests. This pup comes with a 30 month health guarantee.
