Cisco is an accomplished field trial dog and hunting companion.  He recently finished both his AKC Field Championship and Amateur Field Championship, and he has hunted upland game in a handful of different states.  In the past 12 months, Cisco has won 6 major Gun Dog stakes, at both horseback and walking field trials, on the way to his Field Championship and Amateur Field Championship titles.  Five of his six wins were against all breed competition, and three of his major wins were 4 pointers, in which he defeated 17, 19 and 21 dogs to nab the blue ribbon.  Cisco has never won a stake with less than 14 dogs.  He was named the Vizsla Club of Michigan's Amateur Gun Dog of the Year for 2008, and as a derby dog, he took 3rd Runner-up in the Midwest Vizsla Futurity in 2006, the breed's largest ever Futurity with 32 dogs entered. 

Cisco has a keen nose, style and intensity on point, incredible drive and a strong desire to hunt.  He is a muscular, powerfully built male.  Despite his prowess in the field, his best trait still remains his wonderful temperament and easy going nature.  He has never met a stranger. 

Katie, the dam, is also a powerfully built and athletic female, with a rich dark color and a far reaching stride.  She had considerable success as a young field trial dog as well, and has points towards her field championships.  Katie is about the sweetest dog you will ever meet.  Her tail is constantly wagging.

Cisco & Katie come from two of the best bloodlines the breed has to offer.  Cisco's father, Zorro, is a Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion, and his mother, Mishka, is an Amateur Field Champion.  Although Katie's father, Cash, is not a field champion himself, he sired the Vizsla Club of America's National Field Champion in 2008 and a number of other Field Champions.  Cash's littermate sister was the dam of the Vizsla Club of America's National Field Champion in 2007.  Katie's Dam, Cleo, is a Field Champion, Amateur Field Champion and Senior Hunter.  Given Cisco's and Katie's pedigrees and their individual accomplishments, I have no doubt that these pups are destined for greatness in the field and the home alike.
