We have been waiting for this one for a quite some time. We have finally arranged this breeding that we believe will produce not only some of the best retrievers we have produced but some of the very best looking dogs as well. This breeding is our CVK's High Sierra Angel X CVK's Bad To The Bone "Muzzy" breeding. Both of these dogs are exceptional assets to the Coteau View Kennels breeding program.
Muzzy is right at the roots of Coteau View Kennels breeding program. He is our 85 lbs. Black Stud. He is the direct son of the dog that started it all for us "CVK's BS SuperNova" who is now retired. His mother "Coon Creek Kate JH" is also one of the original breeding females here so Muzzy is truly a excellent representation of what we have worked to produce here at Coteau View Kennels and Nova's legacy continues on through him. To say that Muzzy has great looks just doesn't say it. He has the perfect confirmation that an ideal Labrador should have. He has a blocky head and square, muscular front shoulders. His coat is absolutely amazing. The sleekness of his coat is really something to see. Muzzy is the total package: Looks, Trainability, Calm Temperament and Superb Retriever Skills.
CVK's High Sierra Angel has been my number one dog since she was 1 year old. Angel is a yellow 70 lbs. female. She has the perfect confirmation that a female Labrador should have. She has been a special dog from day one. She is a direct daughter of 4X GMPR HPK's Hawk of Bearpoint which explains why she is such a special dog. She has the looks and trainability that everyone seeks in a top of the line Labrador.
These puppies are due late April. We expect great things from these puppies and will make great gun dogs for the weekend hunter or the guide who hunts everyday. I can say this because both of these dogs are used as guide dogs but they are also both family dogs living in the house with the family.
