We are capable of taking adults and children on our hunts, all parties must have a Hunter Safety Certificate and Valid Iowa Liscense to hunt with Bear Creek Guide Service.
Bear Creek Kennels and Guide Service sits in the heart of Eastern Iowa's rolling farmlands. We are a medium sized kennel and here we raise some of the finest German Shorthaired Pointers and Labrador Retrievers in the Midwest.
We hunt and guide over German Shorthaired Pointers and Labrador Retrievers. Our dogs are proven in the fields on WILD BIRDS and on hunting preserves for 6 months a year. Dogs versed on various species of birds including Pheasants, 3 Species of Quail, Chukar Partridge, Hungarian Partridge, Prairie Chicken, and Sage Grouse. We rarely miss a bird or lose a cripple.
We guide on the Iowa River Corridor in Eastern Iowa that lies between the towns of Marengo and Belle Plaine. Over 60, 000 Acres of prime wild bird country with CRP fields, Woodlines, fence rows, timber, swamp and marsh, etc.
