South Dakota Summer Camp - Vizslas in Isabel, South Dakota - Ken Kuivenhoven

Our Summer camp is a great adventure for all breeds of Pointing dogs! Over the course of the Summer we spend approximately two months of working wild game and conditioning on the prairies,, with a third month working varied grounds, running local trials, the VCA National Field trial and some realtime hunting exposure. We secure multiple leases in order to ensure the dogs see a different course each day of the week and to keep the pressure low on the birds. This is a unique and outstanding opportunity for your dog. Dogs of all ages will benefit from this camp. The young ones learn how to search and find plentiful wild birds and the more advanced dogs can really polish up. Space is limited so if interested, book early.

In 2012 we took a dog to Summer camp that had a number of issues with catching birds in trials, and a tough handle. After a summer on the Prairie, he culminated his trial season with a win of the Vizsla Club of America's National Gundog Championship. We can't guarantee that result for every dog obviously, but it certainly maximized Tucker's Potential. Give your dog the Prairie Advantage. Book today.
