TRAINING:

Lady is a snappy female, just in the beginning stages of some basic obedience. She's learning Sit, Kennel, E-Collar Training, Whistle Come and Come. She's through with crate training and is doing well in the house. She loves kids and has a great attitude, lots of energy, and loves to retrieve! She's curious and outgoing, great with other dogs, non-aggressive. She rides very well in a truck box or crate in the bed (no accidents can hold bladder and bowels for hours). She is not destructive (any more than a puppy is) and barely makes a sound in the kennel. She has a Natural Retrieve to hand almost every time, good candidate to force fetch.

She has been through our sound conditioning program and introduced to small caliber gunfire at a distance of 40 yards. She's been introduced to clipped winged pigeons, Bobwhite Quail, Wood Ducks and Mallard Ducks. She retrieves singles on land and water with gunfire.

Lady is a fantastic swimmer, loves water and has been retrieving out of water since she was 11 weeks old. Needs work on being steady and finish up gun work before she's ready for the Duck Blind. We have shot .209 Primers during training at 5yrds and she has no problem with the sound during her retrieves. She has had 20 gauge fired out in the field when marking birds. Lady doesn't seem to distract her at all but we still have yet to shoot over her head.

She is a prime candidate to do some waterfowling this fall. Great young dog.
