This planned litter is out of our male dog 4x Am. Field Ch/RU Ch/NGDC/NAGDC/FC/AFC Peter Gunn (Pete) and our female Sling Blade's Trade (KC). The puppies will be registered through AKC (American Kennel Club). We expect orange and white puppies only from this premium breeding.

The sire of this litter, NGDC/NAGDC/FC/AFC Peter Gunn has made Brittany history as being the only dog to hold both the National Open and National Amateur Gun-Dog Championship titles. Pete is the reigning 2012 Tri-Tronics Dog of the year for being the #1 shooting dog in the USA in hour long competition stakes. He is also the reigning 2012 International Brittany Shooting Dog Champion and the 2012 International Brittany All-Age RU Champion. In 2011 he bested the field at the Southeastern Continental Breed Shooting Dog Championship - he is only the second Brittany to ever win this championship.
He was also awarded the 2010 Magnum's Masked Man award for having the highest amount of gun dog field trial wins/points of any dog in the country. Pete is dually registered with American Field/Field Dog Stud Book and has won four American Field championship titles therefore further making him a 4x American Field Champion as well. Also, early in his career he also had several NSTRA wins to add to his belt. NGDC/NAGDC/FC/AFC Peter Gunn is one of the most talented and decorated, well rounded bird-dogs the Brittany Breed has to offer with an outstanding lineage of highly talented and proven dogs. Pete's sire is NAFC/FC/AFC Walker's Gunner who was the 1997 National Amateur All Age Champion who also sired NGDC/FC Last Dixie Chick. NAFC/FC/AFC Walker's Gunner is a full littermate to 2002 National Amateur All-Age Champion NAFC/FC/AFC Pistol Pack'n Walker. Pete's dam is AFC Bullet's Renegade Miss Megan - our foundation female who is a strong hunter and qualified for the 2007 and 2008 National Amateur Gun Dog Championships. Megan's sire is Brittany Hall of Fame inductee 32x NSTRA Champion Nolan's Last Bullet who has more NSTRA wins than any dog of any breed in the history of NSTRA. The dam of this litter, Sling Blade's Trade (K.C.) is sired by the renowned American Field Champion, 15X NSTRA Ch, Beeline Bullet's Bravado (Brave). Beeline Bullet's Bravado (Brave) was an excellent competitor in National Shoot To Retrieve (NSTRA) field trials and was a dog who possessed speed, range, stamina, an exceptional nose and bird-finding ability, in addition to extreme style. Brave's accomplishements include 2005 and 2006 winner of the South Carolina NSTRA Regional Championship and was High Point dog both years, 2003 NSTRA Dog of the Year, the Runner-up Champion of the 2003 NSTRA Quail Unlimited Nestle/Purina Dog of the Year National Championship, 2002 NSTRA Grand National Champion, Runner-up 2001 NSTRA Dog of the Year Championship. Beeline Bullet's Bravado (Brave), who has more than proven himself in the field is sired sired by NSTRA legend and Brittany Hall of Fame inductee 32x NSTRA Champion Nolan's Last Bullet. The dam of the litter, Sling Blade's Trade (KC) mother, Shadows Freckled Sue, is sired by NFC/FC/AFC Shambo's Dark Shadow who is the top winning hour AKC All-Age Brittany in the history of the breed. In 2001 NFC/FC/AFC Shambo's Dark Shadow was named the National Field Champion at the All-Age National Championship. He has 44 1-hour All-Age placements throughout his career and is an 11x American Field Champion and 10x American Field Champion Runner up. He was also named the 2002 Iams/Royal Canin Dog of the Year. Sling Blade's Trade (K.C.) is showing great promise in the field as well as being a very affectionate and even tempered pet with loads of heart and bird drive. She is showing enthusiasm, good range, and will hold point stylishly and has proven in her juvenile field trial entries/wins that she has what it takes to be that "really" nice dog everyone looks for.

As with all our premium litters, this litter features unsurpassed bloodlines with multiple national champions and/or Brittany Hall of Fame inductees in every generation. We planned this breeding with expectations of producing puppies which display superior performance and hunting skills due to KC and Pete's proven ability and exceptional lineage. These are expected to be one of a kind puppies with bloodlines that promote a sound, reasonable, and trainable attitude and disposition for any degree of activity ranging from a hunting partner to jogging partner to couch potato. These puppies are expected to be strong, healthy bird dogs with intense desire and style, highly intelligent with an eagerness to learn with happy, biddable temperaments that will make them easy and enjoyable to live with at home. Only orange and white puppies will be available. We prefer that our puppies above all are part of the family fand we strive to find the right match for each puppy.

All puppies come with a complete health guarantee against genetic defects. All dewclaws will be removed, tails will be docked, and they will be up to date on all vaccinations and dewormer. We will ship puppies within the continental United States via airline for approximately 350.00 which includes airfare, appropriate veterinary certified shipping documents and health guarantee, and a shipping crate. This amount may be more or less depending on actual cost of airfare at the time of shipment. Puppies who are being picked up from our residence may be picked up at 7 weeks of age. Puppies who will have to fly to their new homes can not be shipped until they are a minimum of 8 weeks of age.
