MayMay x Hank Breeding Planned for May with pups born in July/August..  This will be a superior breeding.  This breeding is expected to create superior hunters, service dogs and companion pets.  The pups are expected to all be Chocolate.  We are already getting a lot of requests for this breeding, so get your information in to us as soon as possible as we will then contact based on when inquiries come in when we have a confirmed pregnancy.

May is an 80 pound pup, she is a great mix of English and American lines.  She has a large bone structure.  She has not been trained as a hunter but comes from lines that contain some hunters.  To see a 5 generation pedigree head to www.labrdogskennel.com. She will fetch until the cows come home.

Hank on the other hand is a very strong hunter.  When we used him prior with a different Bitch he stopped sniffing and being interested in breeding when he heard a gun shot in the near distance.  He was looking up and back at us to know where to get the birdie.  He has produced only one litter to date with a great mix of  hunting, companion and service pups.  He is about 80 pounds and is built for the fields with a stong bone structure.  He has a great line to him that is a mix of american and English lines.

If you are looking for a true English lab with blocky heads and bodies you will have to look at the show lines in order to get this.  But if you do this you will get a dog that is most likely unable to work in the field.  We had bought a wonderful Chocolate lab with a superb look to him.  He was a showoff in the ring but when it came to fetching let alone sniffing out treats of raw meat in the yard he was unable to do that.  It took him over two years to figure out what a game of fetch was.

At this time we don't hunt ourselves but we do offer scents to the pups as well as wings and planning to have live birds this year to train with in order to find the pups that have the high drive for hunting.  We raise the pups right in the middle of our lives in the living room.  They are socialized in public at parks and shopping from just days old.  They are introduced to as many new experiences as we can possibly give to the pups.  We also begin training them to go outside to potty and by the time that they head home to you at 9 weeks of age they are 80% or better.  So all you have to do is keep up with their routine and change it as needed for your lifestyle.  Lastly the pups have been with children between the ages of 2 and 8 and do very well with them.  Because of the kids we also teach the pups very early on that nipping is not ok and break that habit through the use of toys.

View the slide show of some of the pups each has created with a different mate.
