This litter was bred to produce the well rounded field dog.  They will be highly intelligent, eager to please, and driven to retrieve.   These puppies will be easy to live with in the house and be dynamite in the field or at any other dog game that you would like to try.

Rio is a Master Hunter, JAM at a Field Trail, and a UKC show ring champion.  On top of that he is a full time house dog and  hunting partner.  He is a moderate dog in size and coat with a calm and easy going personality. 

Mae is a Junior Hunter with one leg of her Senior Hunter.  She also has a Working Certificate Excellent and a Rally Novice Title.  She is a ball of fire in the field.  She can hunt or train for hours and still want more.  She has a superior marking ability and she never out of control or out of range.  In the house she is a gentle playmate for our grandchildren and loves everyone she meets.  Her personality typifies the outgoing and friendly Golden personality.  Puppies from Mae's 2009 litter are running hunt tests and are outstanding gun dogs.
