If the answer is yes then please read on and learn a little more about what we have to offer you and why we consider ourselves different than other breeders out there.

First we pride ourselves in the love of the breed and learning as much about them as we can. We keep up to date on medical findings and research percentages and what lines are affected. For example: did you know that less than 12% of the labrador retriever population tests severe when it comes to hips. Were you aware that some smaller breeds actually rate worse on hips than Labs do? Or that most other retrievers are rated worse than a labrador retriever.

Second there are no special building, kennels, or barn. Instead the pups of all ages are kept in the house with us. They have their own door, to let themselves out when they need to go potty. They sleep on the furnature. In fact at least three sleep in bed with us during the night with a morning snuggles to follow. The puppies also stay in the house with us. They are whelped in the living room right with us and as they grow and need more space we upgrade their space. Their whelping pen is a custom made pen large enough for a twin air bed for myself to sleep with mom and new whelps and has clear panals in order to see in from the two sides away from the wall.

Third, we begin to potty train by 4 weeks old and pending any unforeseen circumstances they should be 80% or better at potty training when they head home to their families. We have found that because we are with them nearly 100% of the time we are able to give them this specialized attention. We also take them with us to town to play at the parks go to pet stores and get out and about to socialize the pups with as much as we can. We start socializing them before they even open their eyes. We have found that this early socialization has helped to make a well rounded puppy who is not scared of new situations and is a social butterfly.

Fourth, we start the pups on training including basic obedience and scents. We do this because we feel that this early neurological stimulation makes for a brighter puppy that is willing and able to learn. This also gives us the chance to evaluate the pups in the litter to see who would be best at hunting, companion pet, or service work as well as help to match personality of pups to the families.

Fifth, we take the time to help you, the puppy parents out and would like you stay a part of our lives so that we know what is new and coming with the pups. This lets us know the accomplishments that the pup has obtained, any health issues along the way and be here for questions.

Breedings...

Currently we have a breeding underway with an ultrasound on April 22nd which confirmed she is pregnant. This litter is expected to be all black. Price for these pups is $500 & $650 based on package.

We also have a planned breeding for early May which will have all Chocolates. Price for these pups is $550 & $700 based on package.

Price packages...

For the $500 or $550 fee you recieve a basic package which covers only vaccinations, microchip, Limited registration with AKC papers.

For the $650 & $700 fee you recieve the basic package as well as a health guarantee and Full AKC rights. Health guarantee covers 12 months of general genetic health, 25 months for eyes and hips.
