Harvest Moon Farm and Kennels - Wisconsin Labrador Retriever Breeders

Harvest Moon Farm and Kennels is located in Northwest Wisconsin. Our goal is to breed companion Labradors for the field as well as your home. All of our dogs are first and foremost a part of our family. We breed Chocolate, Black, and have all colors for stud. Our breeding dogs are all AKC registered and chosen based on health, conformation, sound temperaments, lineage, and proven hunting ability. Our foundation females and males come from proven hunting lines. In addition, all our breeding dogs have been certified or by parentage clear of EIC and CNM. All are certified with OFA (Cardiac, Hip, Elbow), and Eye CERF. All of our puppies will be Vet checked, have dewclaws removed, receive first vaccinations at seven weeks old, and dewormed. At four days of age, we start "Early Neurological Stimulation" and continue the process for three weeks. All Harvest Moon puppies come with a health guarantee and puppy packet at time of pickup. Weekly photo updates are posted on our website as well to aid in your selection process.

Our puppies are raised in our home and are well socialized with other dogs, cats, and young children. We belong to several hunt clubs, compete in AKC Hunt Tests, and have added future Field Trial prospects to our line. We start our puppies on bumpers, wings, birds, and gunshot once they have moved from the nursery at 4 to 5 weeks of age. They are moved to their indoor-outdoor temperature controlled sleep and play area attached to our home where they are closely monitored (both hands-on and through closed circuit cameras). Our dogs and puppies get exposure to pigeons, ducks, pheasants, and chukars, as well as a wide variety of terrain and great water. Early water exposure as weather permits.
