Fireside Kennels is a small, high quality home of English Setters that are not just hunting dogs but trusted companions.  Our dogs are bred not only for superior bird finding ability, athleticism and style but also for their ability to work with you.  As an example, our tricolor setter, Talisker Turnabout, not only was Minnesota/Wisconsin Derby dog of the year in 2006 but is also a registered therapy dog with Delta Society.  Fireside Interesting Linda repeated Talisker's achievement, winning the Minnesota/Wisconsin Derby Cover Dog of the  Year in 2010 and continues her competitive career. 

We breed our dogs with an eye towards cover dog compeitions yet want the traits that will make them successful hunting partners and family members. We have only 1-2 litters each year so we can ensure the pups receive the best socialization and enriched environment possible.
