He was just five months when we went to a preserve. Buddy found and pointed all 10 quail and three pheasants. I killed all and he retrieved all!!! We have hunted grouse, ducks, geese, pheasant, quail and woodcock!! He has also found several crippled and dead deer for me!! I have had numerous dogs, but my Wirehair Buddy has been the very best!! Thanks ChuckSubmitted by: jon perkins on Oct 27, 2008 i got a gwp from chuck and he is great!!!!! your typical gwp high energy and very birdy!!!! he is 10 and 1/2 months old and i have shot 41 wild pheasants and 10 grouse over him already!!!! he has locked up on about half of them for me so far and he is getting better with every hunt. remember to get your dog on wild birds game farm birds are to easy for gwps and do not give them the chalenge they needSubmitted by: Dennis Jennings on Feb 24, 2007 I have a pup from chuck.
