About Shade Tree Kennels

Shade Tree Kennels is located in La Center, WA. We are in business to breed top quality, award winning AKC/APLA Yellow Pointing Labrador Retrievers. Our goal is to provide you with the ultimate gundog and companion. Our dogs come from multiple Grand Master Pointing Retriever, Hall of Fame Pointing Labrador, Working Retriever and Field Trial Champion bloodlines. They point naturally, have superior hunting and retrieving ability and are wonderful family dogs.

Now back in Washington and standing at stud to approved AKC Labrador females, 4x GMPR STK's Tub Full Of Mallards MH. Ted is a 2012 Master National qualifier and a phenomenal upland dog with a staunch natural point to go along with his outstanding retrieving skills. Ted achieved 5 titles in 2010, 7 titles in 2011 including his 4x Grand Master, qualified for the AKC Master National's in 2012 and will run in the 2013 Master Nationals. All this and Ted is not yet 5 years old. We've expected great things from him and we're seeing them! Ted has 5 litters on the ground and his pups look good and point too! Ted has personality plus, outstanding bloodlines, good bone, conformation and size, all his health clearances (EIC/CNM/PRA/PRCD Clear and OFA Excellent) and is an asset to anyone's breeding program.

Our 2013 Ted x Quiver litter has sold out and all pups are in their new homes. We are very excited to hear the feedback on this litter. Words like "amazing", "outstanding" "couldn't ask for more" "filled with potential" "extremely birdy" are what we're hearing. Stay tuned here for word of a possible rebreeding of Ted and Quiver in 2014.

I have trained 3 of their dog's now... Two young Yellow females... Very birdy and trainable... And one young male who is their up and coming Stud dog; "TED" ... He is a beautiful Yellow male... Well built and a worthy GUN DOG...
