"We are dedicated to breeding Chesapeake Bay Retrievers that have a good temperament, are sound, tractable, with a high retrieving desire.  Dogs that are easy for the average person to train and enjoy doing so....Dogs that LOVE to WORK!

"We sell to competition homes, hunters and to people who just want a companion.  We feel that everyone has the right to purchase "The Best Chesapeake" a breeder has to offer.......no matter what their lifestyle or how they plan to "Enjoy their Dog".

Our dogs are our companions and hunted when possibe.  We love to train and compete with them......and besides what better way to prove that you breed tractable dogs, than by training and competing with them! Field Trails and/or Hunting Stakes are the proving grounds for that great hunting dog that we all would like to have or say we have!  We have trained and titled 9 dogs (so far) to the title of Master Hunter - the Top level of the AKC Hunting Stakes.  Our stud dog was also a  finalist at the 2006 AKC Master National: HRCH CH INTL CH Nordom's Apache Rebel MH WDQ.  24 MH Qualifications in a row. Qualified for 04.05.06.07.08  Master Natl's.We are the breeders of the only two Chesapeakes that Qualified at the 2006 AKC Master National.

We believe in breeding Quality, not Quantity.  We choose a potential Stud carefully.......taking into consideration not only his Field Credentials & Pedigree, but what he will contribute in temperament, soundness, retrieving desire and overall quality of the litter. 

We spend a lot of time with our litters: socializing them, introducing them to all kinds of noises and situations, intoducing them also to birds, shot and water (if weather permits). When your puppy leaves Nordom, he/she is a healthy, happy, well adjusted pup......ready, willing and eager to learn and excell at any endeavor! "

Pups will have dew-claws removed, be wormed as necessary, have first shot. They come with a written quarantee.  -  Stud Service is available to Rebel on approved bitches.   -   Older dogs for sale ocassionally.
