I have gotten all of my wirehairs from them and will continue to do so. They will give you their best option about a dog when asked and won't lie to you about a dog. Not only do they breed for temperment, hunting ability, but also for conformation. I only recommend Inverness Kennels to anybody that wants a wirehair in their lifeSubmitted by: Paul Wymer on Dec 03, 2008 Hello,Let me start off by saying Igor is my first experience with a GWP. He is a great dog and Laura Myles is an outstanding breeder. Igor has an extremely strong prey drive and without a doubt the smartest dog I have ever owned. He does require a fair amount of exercise. GWPs are a high energy breed and Igor is no exception. He is a beautiful, big, strong Wirehair. He is an AKC registered Champion. Additionally, he has truly excelled at Dock Dogs (dog jumping competiitions) showcased on ESPN, and the Outdoor Channel. We started in Dock Dogs in 2007 and by his third National Competition he had already earned his National Master Jumper Title with 5 jumps over 20 feet and National Elite Jumper Title with 5 jumps over 23 feet. In 2007 he finished the year ranked 13th in the country against over 8,000 dogs. In 2008 we finshed the year ranked 33rd in the country against over 10,000 dogs. Laura Myles produces very high quality dogs and is one of the most conscientious breeders you will run into. We have two of her dogs, Igor as I have mentioned and Gidget who is also a beautiful Wirehair. Though she is only 16 months old she has had her nose to the ground since we brought her home at 11 weeks. An ideal day for both of these dogs is anything that involves the water. Both Igor and Gidget have great dispositions and have become great family pets as well as wonderful companions. I wouldn't ever own another kind of dog now after owning a GWP. Thank You. Sincerely, Paul Wymer |
