About Merry Oak Kennel

We are a small family owned kennel in the beautiful foothills of the Blueridge mountains of Virginia. We focus our breeding first and foremost on the health of our dogs. Our Llewellins are chosen for their natural abilities. This breed is meant to be a hunting dog, their natural instinct is to hunt birds.Our breeding takes into count the dogs pedigree, tracking this insures the bloodlines staying true to the original purpose of the breed. All of our dogs are FSDB registered, DNA'd and Penn Hipped.

Merry Oak offers some fine blues! I was fortunate to see one of these 3, Sawyer, work while at bird dog camp. He was the perfect example of a gentleman's hunting dog. He was steady to the flush at 6 months old and was a cautious hunter. Great little pup!
